Questions

Does my data leave my servers?

No. Scans, history and reports are generated and stored locally. There is no cloud component, no telemetry, and no account required for the free app. Reports are e-mailed via your SMTP server, if you enable it.

What are the system requirements?

Windows Server 2016+ or Windows 10/11. Single executable, no installer required, no external database. History is stored in a local SQLite file.

Will my antivirus complain?

Binaries are code-signed (OV certificate). A brand-new signed executable can still trigger SmartScreen warnings in its first weeks — that's how Microsoft builds trust for new publishers, and it fades with downloads. The scanning core and the free desktop app are published under the MIT License, so you can read — or build yourself — exactly what runs on your machines. The paid agent is closed source.

How is this different from the disk analyzers I already use — you know, the trees, the maps, the wizards?

They're excellent one-time scanners: they tell you what is big right now. DiskGrowth keeps history and tells you what is growing and when you run out. Different question, different tool.

How is this different from folder sensors in my monitoring suite, or RMM disk alerts?

If your monitoring bills per sensor, folder-level visibility gets expensive fast — and RMM alerts stop at "disk almost full". DiskGrowth monitors hundreds of folders per server at a flat per-server price, with forecasts.

Is there a Zabbix integration?

Yes — included in every paid plan: an agent integration with low-level discovery, a hard item cap and heartbeat preprocessing, plus forecast()/timeleft() per folder.
